Tour details
Tour itinerary
You will be picked up from your hotel at around 8.00 am. The route takes you to the village of Paraíso. From here, you will hike for around 2 hours along the edge of the mountain at an altitude of 300 meters. Don't miss the opportunity to taste the fruits of the season and the unique sweet and sour taste of the freshly picked cocoa beans.
Once at the top, we will visit a local family who live far away from civilization and are dedicated to cultivation. Here we will rest for a while and have the opportunity to taste typical dishes of the region to get an idea of what it means to live like this.
After a break, we will continue our hike on a different path to return to the village of Paraiso and take transportation back to the hotel.
We recommend that you bring a small backpack for water and snacks for the hike.
You need to be in good physical condition to tackle the mountain on your own.
