Tour itinerary
Take a tour through the different processes of rum production: distillery, refining, rum cellar and packaging. You will also visit an exhibition that shows the history of rum and the Barceló family. The exhibition is located in a museum built in the shape of a rum barrel.
To top it all off, a rum tasting awaits you. You will then visit the interesting cave system “Cuevas de las Maravillas” with underground rivers and stalactite caves. It is the largest developed stalactite cave in the Dominican Republic and features several hundred pictograms created by the local Taino Indians.
